HERETIC

The University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Military Medicine Research and The Trauma and Transfusion Medicine Research Center (TTMRC), along with the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine and in collaboration with the THOR Network introduce the HEmostatic REsuscitation and Trauma Induced Coagulopathy (HERETIC) Symposium.

Having its inaugural symposium in October of 2022, the goal of HERETIC was and will be to bring together a rich mix of researchers, providers, the Department of Defense, and private and public research program managers to disseminate and discuss the most up-to-date research and practices in the field of hemostatic resuscitation and trauma induced coagulopathy. HERETIC celebrates the growing partnership and research opportunities available through private and public research programs.

Currently, The HERETIC Symposium will be held every two years. The next symposiums date is TBH at this current time.
